Asia Social Innovation Award 2023/2024

We believe that purpose-driven innovations can help us solve the most pressing urban social and environmental challenges of our time. Launched in 2008 by Social Ventures Hong Kong (SVhk) , Asia Social Innovation Award (A.S.I.A.) is the first regional social start-up competition promoting the culture of social innovation and exchange of ideas in the Asia Pacific region, which provides changemakers with the support, exposure, network and resources to generate greater impact. 
In 2023/24, A.S.I.A. is back as a transformative platform assembling seasoned veterans and enthusiastic newcomers, enabling collective efforts to drive impactful changes in pursuit of the New Urban 2030 Odyssey.

Judging Criteria

Eligibility 

  • An original and well-thought-out idea that aims to tackle any of the aforementioned Impact Areas is welcomed. 
  • Individuals or teams of all backgrounds are welcome to join, but only one person is required to apply if you have a team. Startups in operation must be less than 2 years old.
  • Applicants must be aged 18 or above on the date of participation and with a valid Hong Kong Identity Card.
  • All submissions must be in Chinese or English.
