Futuremaker Launchpad

A 6-month programme designed to foster personal growth, purpose leadership and collaborative action through a series of diverse curated experiences for 6 shortlisted local futuremakers from Hong Kong

What to expect

Futuremaker launchpad (Jun – Nov 2021) 

• Purpose leadership retreat on exploring self-identity, connection with our surroundings and the world  
• Experimenting, prototyping and piloting new collaborations: Social innovation experiences to broaden exposure, enhance creativity and facilitate multi-sector collaborations to scale individual and project impact
• Regional perspectives and knowledge hub: co-learning and exchange with A.S.I.A regional community of alumni startups and partners

Final Showcase (Nov / Dec) 

• A celebration and showcase of collaborative innovation and new possibilities for a New Urban future developed from the launchpad programme by Hong Kong futuremakers. Futuremakers will be invited to champion their New Urban vision, deliver a creative pitch on their collaborative pilot project and share leadership learnings  
• Futuremaker of the Year Award (HK$ 100,000 cash prize) will be presented to one of the Local Futuremakers for his/her outstanding participation throughout the A.S.I.A programme and role in advocating for a New Urban vision
  

Eligibility

• Founding member of a local startup primarily based in Hong Kong
• Demonstrates collaborative leadership and creative resilience
• Startup or solution in pilot stage (< 2 year) and ready for collaboration 
• Solution demonstrates a vision to reimagine a New Urban (Wellness, Lifestyle Urban and Future Talent)

Regional Programme:
Futuremaker Launchpad

6 A.S.I.A alumni will be selected to further their New Urban vision by building thought leadership through access to a series of public speaking opportunities, regional and media exposure and co-learning with Hong Kong local startups

What to expect 

• Share your New Urban vision with an extensive regional community of impact investors, corporates and ecosystem enablers 
• Gain public / media exposure and access to selected A.S.I.A events  
• Opportunity to mentor and nurture young entrepreneurs in Hong Kong
• Cross-regional exchange with ASIA alumni and partners
• Networking opportunities and access to resources 

Eligibility 

•  An A.S.I.A 2008 – 2020 Alumni with an active startup or project 
• Commitment to champion New Urban visions through lined up public speaking opportunities, campaigns and co-learning / mentorship for local Hong Kong futuremakers  
• Demonstrates collaborative and action-oriented leadership
• Active community engagement and participation in movement building 
• Global perspectives and regional influence
